We collect information you provide directly (email address, display name, practice settings) and information generated through your use of the service (session transcripts, filler word statistics, streak data).
Fluent uses your browser's built-in Web Speech API for real-time transcription. Audio is processed locally by your browser — we never receive or store raw audio. Session transcripts are stored in our database solely to provide you with session history and AI coaching.
We use your data to provide and improve the service, generate AI coaching feedback via Google Gemini, display your progress history, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Session transcripts and statistics are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate personalized coaching feedback. This data is subject to Google's API data processing terms. We send only the minimum necessary data for each coaching request.
Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL). We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections and access controls.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card information. Stripe's privacy policy applies to all payment transactions.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your personal data and session history will be permanently removed within 30 days.
We use cookies only for authentication session management (via Supabase Auth). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Fluent is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
